This week we got an MRI at the new NextGen Center at University of Missouri Healthcare. A very impressive facility to see up close in person. I don’t expect anything to be found on the MRI, I think the doctor was just trying rule out some things related to the dizziness. We got bloodwork done at Ellis Cancer Center that came back that Jerry needed more Vitamin D, so we got some Vitamin D pills, that may help the dizziness. We are waiting on a call back from Doctor Rivera on the next steps for trying to get the imbalance issue figured out.
I’ve got my realtor friend putting feelers out on the house. Ideally, he could get a good price on it as is without having to put a lot of money into it to sell. He seems to think he can get what dad wants for it pretty easily as is because of the location and the lack of available houses next to the course. We’re taking Jerry up to Overland Park on my way back next week to look at some options for independent senior living. They’ve got some great options up here. We’re also talking about him moving in with me up here as I have a flexible schedule that would allow for time to care and taking to/from appointments, etc.
All in all, a pretty positive few weeks. Hope to hear back from Radman (realtor) to see what kind of interest and offers we have on the table next week to share.
